KREATOR / Arch Enemy / Sodom / Vader 07.12.2014 Saarbücken

    Location: Garage Saarbrücken

    Personal impressions:

    Vader: Missed that …sorry

Sodom: brutal and fun as usual. Tom Angelripper at his best with all good songs and a special celebration of the 25’st Anniversary of „Agent Orange“.

Arch Enemy: Awesome!!! Saw them at Wacken, but with their new guitarist Jeff Loomis they are beyond compare. Michael Amott and Jeff Loomis are the best Guitar-Duo… EVER!!!  Alissa White-Gluz is a stage-monster and the audience are her minions. Great Show, great Sound (as far as possible in this location), over too fast, should have lasted the rest of the night… but wait there was still one to come:

KREATOR: Great Show. Brutal, fast and constantly yelling for Revolution with fists up in the air, Mille was in a good…erm angry mood and my neck still hurts… what a blast. United in hate!!!

My personal favorite of this evening was…surprise, suprise… Arch Enemy. I hope they will stay in that combination for the next decades.

Perfect for the dark season of the Year: Wolfheart’s 2013 Release „Winterborn“

…oh, wait, it’s perfect for every season.

Wolheart: Another „Band“ of Tuomas Saukkonen, who has shown with his former bands (Before the Dawn, Black Sun Aeon) that he is an excelent Songwriter and Composer, but rarely known in the „normal“ Metal Scene. All Instruments and vocals are done by Mr. Saukkonen (except some guitar solos from Mika Lammassaari of Eternal Tears Of Sorrow).
